Note: this song was recorded originally for Van Der Graaf first album, "The Aerosol Grey Machine" in 1968, but it did not see the light of day 'till Peter Hammill released the remastered version on cd in 1997. "Ferret" has changed over the six years hibernation period, and gained maturity, as Hammill himself did, but the essence of this simple love song remained the same.
